Privacy policy

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. Below we inform you about how your data is processed when you visit this website.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is:

Eric Knickel
Welserstraße 3, c/o MDC#1972, 87463 Dietmannsried
vogueloopindustries@gmail.com

2. Hosting & server logs

This website is run on Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA). Server functions run in the Frankfurt region; delivery is via Vercel's network. When you visit, technically necessary data (including IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser type) is processed in server log files. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the provider.

3. SSL/TLS encryption

For security, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.

4. Cookies

On the public pages we use no cookies and no comparable storage in your browser: no analytics, no tracking scripts, no embedded third-party content. That is why there is no cookie banner. Only the protected administration area uses technically necessary login cookies.

5. Contact form and email

When you write to us through the contact form or by email, we process your details to answer your enquiry: request type, service, name, email address and message, and optionally company, phone, budget range and preferred time. Without the required details we cannot process the enquiry. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for enquiries unrelated to a contract, it is our legitimate interest in answering them (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Consent is not required for this. We do not use your details for advertising. Data is stored in our database (Neon, Frankfurt region). The notification to us and the confirmation to you are sent via Resend. Data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR) are in place with both providers. To prevent abuse, we briefly process your IP address when you submit the form in order to limit the number of requests. It is held in memory only and not stored in the database (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Appointment requests

We arrange an appointment for an intro call with you by email or phone. We do not currently use an external booking tool.

7. Reach measurement

We do not currently use any audience measurement.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, use the contact details in the legal notice.

9. Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the authority responsible for us, the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.

10. Retention

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods (e.g. up to 10 years under commercial and tax law). After that, the data is deleted.

11. Transfers to the USA

Vercel, Resend and Neon are companies based in the USA. Where personal data is transferred to the USA in this context, this is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR), where the provider is certified under it, or on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
